We had a wonderful time presenting “Normal…?” on May 10th. Thanks to everyone who took part and came out to see it!  Now we’re ready to plunge into our next event, and there are ways for you to be involved!

MACABRE MOVIE NIGHT:

Tantalizing tales of Terror and Titillation: Hosted by Amanda & Alyson, the Terrible Twosome of Touch Me Philly Productions.

June 20th, 8pm, at The Adrienne Theater, 2030 Sansom Street

Amanda & Alyson will be bringing you film shorts of a dark and perhaps a little off beat nature.  You can submit your work to be considered for inclusion via email/DropBox to Info@TouchMePhilly.com

Shorts should be in digital letter box formats and be no longer than 15 minutes.  We will also be accepting previews to show at the beginning of the evening.

Submissions will be accepted until Monday, May 27th.

We reserve the right to joke about and comment on the material, but remember, it’s all in good fun!

Auditions for “Normal…?”

By Appointment Only

Normal Poster

Join us on stage as a performer in our night of shorts from primarily local authors!  We are looking for a few good men and women to help us perform these shorts in just a couple short weeks.  We qill have 2-3 flexible rehearsals over the next two weeks- then run through/tech the evening of Thursday May 9th, and tech & the show on May 10th.  Most, if not all actors, would be playing roles in at least 2 pieces (there are 10 all together)- a great chance to show off your versatility!

BREAKDOWN:

Male:  Several roles for men in their 20s/30s.  One super geeky, a couple unsure of their decisions, one ‘stoner’ type, one ‘vampiric.’   Also looking for one ‘father’ type- must read 40′s/50′s.  One ageless- must read as a pushover.

Female:  Several 20′s/30′s.  One very attractive “perfect gal” type- bonus if you’re willing to play harshly against that type as well as the One ‘touch hooker’ type-, one ‘ultra feminist/women’s studies’ type, one 40s/50s ‘mom/librarian’ type who must also be willing to ‘let her hair down’ One ageless- yearning, almost desperate to be loved with a know it all side.

Wow us, and we may consider mixing up the sexes of characters too!

To Book your Audition:

Email us to book your audition slot or with any questions:  Info@TouchMePhilly.com

We ask that you bring a prepared short comedic monologue, we will provide sides at the audition.

No pay.  All performers credited, and supported.  Likely video and promo shots provided as well after performance.

Thanks for coming to our slumber party!

We are so proud to say that the 2013 season has begun- and “Burlesque Bedtime Stories” was a success!  Thanks for joining us at The Adrienne Theater last night!  Together we had a great time- a great pillow fight- and we raised money for a great cause!  1/3 of the money raised from BBS is going to Sugar & Spice’s literacy initiative in Kenya to train teachers about the importance of story telling in the classroom.   Touch Me Philly Productions is proud to do our part- and we’re proud of you for doing yours- while enjoying the show!
